The Midtown Mile seems to be the most sought-after strip of real estate in Atlanta, as it has attracted the eye of many prestigious establishments, including The W Hotel, Equinox and, now, the InterContinental hotel. It was recently announced in an article from the Atlanta Business Chronicle that the InterContinental Hotels Group will put a new hotel at the intersection of Peachtree Street and 17th Street, bringing a high level of luxury to the area. The InterContinental hotels have a very prestigious reputation, and Atlanta currently has one InterContinental hotel in the Buckhead area, which holds a Five Diamond rating. There are only four hotels in all of Atlanta that have such a high rating, but there is sure to be one more added to the list once the Midtown InterContintal Hotel is complete.
