If you haven’t been to the Atlanta Botanical Garden lately, there are about to be some illuminating changes. More specifically, Garden Lights Holiday Nights is transforming the Garden into a twinkling winter wonderland. This event happens daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. now through Jan. 7.
Nearly one million lights will be used to create nature-inspired displays. According to the Garden’s website, highlights will include “a galaxy of stars in the woodlands; whimsical bees, butterflies, and other lighted pollinators in the Edible Garden; and 200 show-stopping, color-changing topiary forms choreographed to holiday music on the Great Lawn.”
If you’re planning an all-day trip, don’t miss the Holiday Model Train Show that runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Jan. 7. This display features towns, various trees and even North Pole City. If you’re a model train enthusiast, don’t miss this wonderful display.
