The One Group Reveals New Restaurant Concept for Midtown’s Loews Hotel

Cucina Asellina will make its home next door to STK Atlanta. The new restaurant will serve light Italian fare – flat breads, pizzas and pastas. While it is still unclear which Ristorante Asellina menu items will make the transition, the end result is sure to be exquisite.

According to Devon Mosley, national director of marketing for The One Group, Cucina Asellina will open sometime after STK. The new trendy steakhouse is scheduled to open by the end of November.

Picasso to Warhol Exhibit Now Open at High Museum

From now until April 29, 2012, visitors can view Picasso to Warhol, a brand new collection borrowed from The Museum of Modern Art in New York. For the first time ever in the Southeast, you can view the works of 14 iconic artists in one place.

Picasso to Warhol will present nearly 100 works of 20th century art that explore each artists’ role in shaping modern art. Highlights of the exhibition include: Pablo Picasso’s Girl Before a Mirror, 1932; Jasper Johns’s Map, 1961; Andy Warhol’s Self-Portrait, 1966; Constantin Brancusi’s Bird in Space, 1928; and Jackson Pollock’s, Number 1A, 1948.

The work of Henri Matisse, Piet Mondrian, Fernand Léger, Giorgio De Chirico, Joan Miró, Romare Bearden, Alexander Calder and others is also featured in the exhibit.
