Homeowners Already Impressed with 1010 Midtown

Posted on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

12th & Midtown project at StreetlevelMove-in may not be for a few more months, but homeowners are already giving 1010 Midtown rave reviews. Mr. Randall Mullen recently wrote a letter to the vice-president of regional sales at Daniel Management Corporation, Jason Winburn, thanking him for putting an end to his long search for a better quality of life in Atlanta. Mr. Mullen has been a consultant in city redevelopment for over 15 years, which means he has been able to advise organizations on revitalizing parts of Atlanta and many other cities in the United States. One aspect that other cities always had that Mullen wished Atlanta would develop were live/work/play environments. While there have been many  attempts promising an exciting, urban life style, none have actually been able to deliver this way of life. However, when Mullen came across 1010 Midtown, he knew that his dream of a better Downtown quality of life was finally a reality. With 1010 Midtown being only one part of a greater master-planned development, 12th & Midtown, it is centrally located in the midst of the newest and hottest nightlife in Atlanta. “Walking to dinner, taking in the cultural arts or enjoying a run through Piedmont Park will soon become a welcome routine. I can’t wait to experience an improved lifestyle here at home,” said Mullen in his letter to Winburn. If you purchase your new home at 1010 Midtown, this will be your new routine too. So, check out what the buzz is about and improve your lifestyle at these luxury condos in Midtown.

Experts Say We Have Made it to the Eye of the Storm

Posted on Thursday, May 15th, 2008

For those that have been waiting for the housing market to bottom out before purchasing a new home, you need to act NOW. Cyril Moulle-Berteaux - a managing partner of Traxis Partners, a hedge fund firm based in New York City - was recently published in the Wall Street Journal giving his opinion about the current state of the market. According to Mr. Moulle-Berteaux, we have reached the eye of the storm and can now begin working our way to the other side. The housing market has officially bottomed out as of April 2008 and will slowly begin to rebuild. We have been in a downturn in the housing market for almost 3 years because owning a home became too expensive for average Americans. However, home prices and mortgage rates have been falling, once again making purchasing a home affordable for everyone. With reasonable home prices, more people are going to be buying and we will return to the booming housing market of 2005. If you want a few more specifics, you should read the full article. Of course, if you are debating on whether or not to purchase a new home, you need to act quickly

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear, Atlanta Home Prices Are Stable

Posted on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

The Living Room of a 1010 Midtown New Condo in AtlantaThis is just another piece of evidence supporting the fact that you can’t listen to national news about real estate. The real estate market is LOCAL, and while many markets have experienced a decrease in home value over the last year, Atlanta has not. In fact, many homes are worth more today than they were a year ago, according to AJC writer John Adams.  The fact that Atlanta had an increase in home prices in 2007 is not a commonly accepted piece of information by Atlanta residents. He also conducted a poll and asked everyone he saw if they thought home prices were up, the same or down from last year, and almost everyone said that prices were down significantly. While the rumors support a decrease in home prices, the statistics prove otherwise. Adams attributes our increasing home prices to the fact that

It’s Beneficial to Be a Homeowner in Atlanta in 2008

Posted on Monday, April 28th, 2008

John Adams gave some “Inside Advice” in the AJC earlier this year about why now is a great time to buy a home. His points are valid and could possibly shine some light on those of you waiting to purchase a home until the economy stabilizes. So, peruse the next few points and then begin your search for a new home in Atlanta at 1010 Midtown:

  • Interest rates are close to being at a record-breaking low. 30-year fixed rate loans are hovering around 6%, helping to make monthly mortgage payments quite a bit lower than they usually are. This is a prime opportunity to affordably get locked-in to a long-term loan.
  • Atlanta’s economy is strong and growing. We have successfully dodged the horrendous real estate slump that Florida and California are suffering from because of our strong job market. By creating new jobs on almost a daily basis, our
