Summer Stroll on the Midtown Mile

It is summertime in Atlanta. Doesn’t that make you want to get out and play? You are certain to enjoy yourself at the first event Summer Stroll on the Mile on Sunday, June 13 from noon - 4 pm. This casual, community event that will take place on everybody’s favorite stretch of Peachtree Street in the area known as the Midtown Mile. This fun, positive experience is sure to attract people from all over Atlanta to Midtown for a fun Sunday afternoon. Numerous events and activities are planned including:
- A community mural that everyone is invited to paint. Located near the marquis at Woodruff, this fun arts experience for both kids and adults is presented through the Young Audiences program at Woodruff . Karin Mervis is the featured artist for this program.
- The Center for Puppetry Arts is offering an interactive “Puppet Factory” experience.
- Alternative country band Stovall will be performing at the North Avenue Presbyterian Church.
- Visit Loews Hotel for some cool and tasty treats.
